What to Expect

This page has been created so you can let people know what to expect when they visit your church.

Here are 4 ideas to help you get started:

How long is the service? It’s nice to know how long a service typically runs so people can plan accordingly.
What about kids? Visitors with children like to know what to do when they first walk in—should they head to the kid’s classrooms or bring them into the main service? Also, they want to know what kind of care their child will be receiving.
What’s the service like? Let people know the style of music, whether the service is formal or informal, and other details so they know what to expect. Try to make these details reflect the mission and values of your church.
How do people normally dress? People feel more comfortable in a new place when they don’t feel like they stand out.

How long is your service?

Our service generally lasts 1 1/2 hours but we are open to the work of the Holy Spirit and sometimes we go a little longer.

Both! It may be strange initially but most of us get used to hearing everything translated.
We have gifted translators that allow us to make our service bilingual. When someone speaks in Spanish it is translated into English and when someone speaks in English it is translated into Spanish.
Our songs include both Spanish and English lyrics. We only sing one language at a time but most of the lyrics are translated on the screen so you know what you are singing while also helping you to learn the other language :).
Here is an example of a song slide. We only sing the lyrics in black font but have the other language underneath. We will switch which language is in black font as we transition between chorus and verses.

During our service, children under 5 years old can go with a teacher to a classroom for "children's church". Other children stay with their parents in the service.

We postponed Sunday School classes due to COVID19 but hope to restart them in the coming months.
